Flying in an open cockpit Biplane over the Smoky Mountains on warm days, shorts and t-shirts are fine, but when it’s chilly out, you may want a jacket. You will have some protection from the elements in the front cockpit behind a small windscreen, much like a convertible in the sky! Reservations are not required, but recommended to secure a flight. Otherwise we operate on a “first come first serve” basis. If the weather is not suitable to fly, you can reschedule. Leather helmets, goggles and silk scarves are available for photos and headsets will be worn during the flight for hearing protection and narrative from the pilot. All ages are welcome, but some dexterity is required to climb into the airplane. We will do our best to accommodate everyone.
